Dell introduced its version iCloud
The American manufacturer specializing in personal computers brought to the stage his own rough parallel to the impending cloud service Apple iCloud.

An updated graphical shell included Dell Stage SyncUP, developed by Nero Synchronization service, able to transfer files, stream music, photos and video between computers and mobile devices. The technology, being a cross-platform, supporting Android and Windows, although a copy-protected content will not work.

Each subscriber gets a free SyncUP 2 GB of cloud storage for a fee, this amount increases in steps of 5, 25 or 100 GB.

Stage-update also makes the Android-device remote control Windows-computers on the LAN.

Upgraded wrapper appeared on July 7 as part of new shipments of netbooks Dell Inspiron Duo desktops and “all in one» Dell Inspiron One, as well as Android-tablet Streak Streak 5 and 7. Other computers like the Dell XPS 15z have to update manually.
