The Japanese mobile phone operator NTT DoCoMo has shown at “Wireless Japan Expo 2012″ a concept of a smartphone based on Android has a transparent OLED display with touch panel on both sides.
The idea behind this concpet made in collaboration with Fujitsu is to use the device is in a traditional way that combined with the touch of the finger placed on its back. This makes it possible to hold such an icon with ill thumb and the index change homescreen. Even more interesting to use with three-dimensional objects that we can rotate between our fingers.
The concept is still under development DoCoMo does not provide for the time the production of a device that has this type of display. There are, in fact, still some problems to be solved such as the brightness of which appears to be still very low.
