Jean-Baptiste Queru , better known as JBQ , a Technical Lead Android Open Source Project for Google, announced on Google Groups that started to release ‘ Android Open Source Project (AOSP) of the source code of  Android 4.1 Jelly Bean .

The release name “ android-4.1.1_r1 ”and the code of the development branch is jb-dev . The codes are currently the Nexus 7 and Nexus Galaxy but will be soon released for Nexus S and Motorola Xoom .

With this source code soon begin to see the first ROM “cooked” by the active comunitià of developers, including the famous CyanogenMod .In the coming days is expected, however, the official release of Android Jelly Bea No over the air on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola XOOM .Source
