The Swiss company refused to continue the registration set-top box Revue, saying that the entrance to the business of Internet television platform Google TV was wrong.

Remains of discount Logitech Revue will be sold and the new Google TV-devices will not be released.

According to executive director of Logitech Guerrini De Luca, Google is too hurried to market with Google TV, so last year suggested that the fall was not ready for public release of this TV show platform. Again, the high cost of terminal devices turned away customers.

Top-manager does not preclude re-connect to business Google TV, but so far his company would prefer to wait while watching the development and improvement of the platform. Head believes that the industry should not exclude Google TV from a field of view, because the success it is still coming, even in the long run.

Whatever it was, the decision will affect the Logitech hurt Google TV – Sony only remained faithful partner of the Internet Corporation. Other vendors of equipment, such as Vizio and Samsung, have not even announced their Google TV-products. The recent rejection of Adobe Systems Flash-player mobile deprived Google TV only advantages in terms of internet video. Intel some time ago ceased to be engaged in development of specialized Atom-processor for Google TV-devices, forcing them to move on rails ARM-chips.

At present, only the Apple TV is the only popular media hub.
