Motorola has launched a first phase of testing for release in Europe of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, for its smartphones RAZR and RAZR MAXX . Italy The new firmware is available to selected users, and for the version of “open market” for those branded by TIM. Progressively, the release will be extended to all users. The Motorola RAZR has a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD resolution, 8 megapixel camera with HD recording capability, front camera for video and body made of steel, kevlar, and Gorilla Glass.

The RAZR MAXX has the same characteristics but is equipped with a battery able to offer a range of up to 17.6 hours of conversation. The thickness is about 9 millimeters
