Mozilla has announced that the new Firefox for Android tablet is now available for download in the Google Play Store .

The same performance improvements integrated in the previous release of Firefox for Android is now available on the tablet. Each feature has been sped up: since the time of loading pages, from panning and zooming performance of web applications. Firefox for Android offers a customizable home page and a revamped interface.This version includes the new Awesome Screen , which retrieves browsing history, bookmarks, passwords and form data. You can also import your browsing experience with Firefox   from another browser with Firefox Sync . Firefox for Android supports Flash devices for tablet Honeycomb , so you can interact with more videos and games on the web. Firefox for Android also allows you to switch to the desktop version of a website by selecting “Desktop Site Request” from the browser menu. The navigation is also simplified thanks to a series of upgrades and improvements in stability with features such as“Search in Page” and “Selecting Text” . Based on the same technology platform open the desktop version, Firefox for Android offers a high level of privacy and security in mobile navigation with tools like the Do Not Track , Master Password and HTTP Strict Transport Security . ’s new features HTML5 in Firefox for Android enables developers to create applications and complex websites based on HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and other standard Web opened. As a supporter of the Web, Mozilla has announced the introduction of new Web API and a willingness to submit to the groups responsible for the definition of technical standards for the benefit of the entire web Among the standards that Mozilla has contributed to are room API, Vibration API, Mobile Connection API, Battery Status API, Screen Orientation API and Geolocation API.
