DOSBox, the emulator operating environment MS-DOS, ported to the tablet RIM BlackBerry PlayBook.

While Research In Motion could not be delivered applications e-mail, calendar and instant messaging BlackBerry Messenger for its unique tablet BlackBerry PlayBook, enthusiasts figured out how to port it to DOSBox, open the emulator IBM PC-compatible computer running the operating system MS-DOS. As a result, it became possible to run on the PlayBook software and games for MS-DOS and Windows 3.11, such as Wolfenstein 3D.

Scheduled for winter 2012 release PlayBook OS 2.0 brings the ability to perform some of the Android-application “blackberry” tablet.
