Asha-family mobiles on S40 platform designed to attract “more than one billion” people who want to always be online, but for some reason are not able to afford to spend money on smart phones.

Nokia Asha 300 with a physical numeric keypad, and resistive touch screen 2.4-inch 240×320 received a 1-GHz processor and communications support 3G HSPA. Its rear 5-megapixel camera can shoot VGA-video. RAM is 128 MB. Flash memory capacity 140 MB supported microSD-slot. Of the others: Bluetooth 2.1 and FM-radio plus RDS.Autonomy is declared at 6.9 hours talk time and 550 hours of standby in GSM-networks and the corresponding 4.3 h and 597 h in 3G-networks. The thickness of the phone – 12.7 mm, weight – ’85

Nokia Asha 303 develops the previous model, differing from Asha 300 2.6-inch capacitive touch screen and physical QWERTY-keyboard and module Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, but instead, the camera unit lost in the resolution, becoming 3.2 – MP, and the amount of internal flash memory dropped to 100 MB. Autonomy is expected within 8.2 hours talk time and 731 hours of standby in GSM-networks and the corresponding 7.2 h and 857 h in 3G-networks. The thickness of the phone – 13.9 mm, weight – ’99

Nokia Asha 300 will be in stores at a price of 85 euros ($ 120) excluding taxes in the fourth quarter, but then sees the light and Nokia Asha 303 with an estimated cost of 115 euros (160 dollars) – both models come in black or red colors.
