As expected, Nokia has officially announced the new Nokia N9 , its first smartphone based operating platform Meego .
The Nokia N9 monocoque is made of polycarbonate and is equipped with a curved display “Gorilla Glass “from 3.9-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, support for GSM / EDGE and UMTS / HSPA (14.4Mbps / 5, 76 Mbps), 8-megapixel camera with optical Carl Zeis ‘s able to record video @ 720p HD , front camera for video, processor OMAP3630 ARM Cortex A8- 1GHz with PowerVR SGX530 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
We also find WiFi a / b / g / n, GPS and A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 1450 mAh battery, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB port. The onboard memory is 16GB or 64GB.
Among the applications include Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Wi-Fi JoikuSpot for tethering, Accuweather, AP News, Swype, Track and Protect, Galaxy on Fire 2, Real Golf, Angry Birds Magic, Mail, video player, Drive, Feeds, search, calculator, calendar, contacts, music player, Web browser with support for HTML5, messaging, photos, photo editor, Store and Ovi Maps.
The size is 116.45 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm 7.6 to 135 grams in weight and will be available in pink, black and blue.
The arrival in stores would be expected “soon”.
