Opera Software has updated the desktop Opera browser to public release under the version 11.60. New product is available on the platforms Windows, Mac and Linux.

Opera 11.60 brought the opportunity to mark the star icon of favorites – a convenient way to add a web-based resources in the Quick set, redesigned the e-mail client in a minimalist design, accelerated loading of web pages over a secure protocol SSL. The Web browser shows off a new algorithm for HTML5-processing, able to deal more effectively with the divergence of different browsers understand the code, thus ensuring uniform representation of Web pages.

According to analysts StatCounter, in November 2011 Opera presence on the world market of browsers was 1.82%, remaining far behind the leading Internet Explorer (40,63%), Chrome (25,69%), Firefox (25,23% ) and Safari (5,92%).
