Playbook BlackBerry OS version v1.0.7 is now available and introduces several new features and updates. These include enhanced support for saving attachments, support for attachments in ZIP format, portrait orientation support in photographic applications and the “Pinch to Zoom” video applications. It ‘was also added support for 15 other languages.
All updates are free and downloadable over the air from the BlackBerry playbook. Users who have purchased and activated BlackBerry playbook since July 13, 2011 will be automatically updated to version 1.0.7 during the initial setup of the tablet. The current software will be notified of the update on the status bar of the BlackBerry playbook, or may control the availability of updates at any time in the Settings menu under Update Software.
