ZTE Corporation announced the first launch in Europe, in collaboration with Telefonica, the new samrtphone ZTE Skate .
The ZTE Skate is based on operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with a 800MHz processor with graphics accelerator, 5MP camera with autofocus, assisted GPS and a 4.3-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480×800.
The smartphone works with GSM, GPRS and EDGE 900, 1800 and 1900MHz, and on networks HSDPA and UMTS 900 and 2100MHz. On HSDPA networks, the download speed of data can be up to 7.2 Mbps

Skate It handles all major audio formats including MP3, AAC, MIDI, wcv, including AMR and MPEG4 video, H.263 and H.264. The multimedia features are enhanced with the Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio / Video Remote Control Profile) that allow you to transmit audio and video via remote devices. The thickness is 11.35 mm and weighs 148 grams.
It is expected that the Skate can match the success of smartphones from Blade , in the last 12 months has been sold in over 50 countries, including China, where it reached an average of over 17,000 units sold a day.
